Les relations spatiales telles que l'adjacence, les distances, les directions ou encore les symétries constituent un élément essentiel des descriptions d'agencement spatial entre les objets d'une scène et sont donc utiles à un grand nombre de tâches d'interprétation d'images. La reconnaissance de structures cérébrales constitue notre cadre d'application.
