Tóm tắt
This paper aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Onluyen.vn, an online learning platform, in facilitating personalized learning in the context of English language learning. The work also focuses on exploring the role of technology in enhancing learning English. With the increasing demand for technology-enhanced personalized learning, this research examines the platform's impact on learners' language proficiency, engagement, and overall satisfaction. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, the study combines survey responses from 55 users with usage data from the platform to analyze learner behavior, engagement patterns, and satisfaction levels. As a material developer at Edmicro, the researcher has access to Onluyen.vn’s user data, facilitated by formal permission from Edmicro’s director, who also owns the platform. This privileged access allows for a detailed and nuanced analysis of the data, providing a deeper understanding of learners’ preferences and behaviors based on demographic and proficiency profiles. The study’s findings are anticipated to contribute to the existing literature on personalized learning and offer actionable insights for optimizing technology-based language learning platforms to better support diverse learner needs in Vietnam and beyond.
