 network monitoring solutions becomes increasingly critical. This project details the
 development of Secure Network Monitor, a Chrome extension designed to detect
 and mitigate potential security risks associated with online browsing. The extension
 employs dynamic detection algorithms, integrating multiple threat intelligence
 sources, behavioral analysis, and tracker identification techniques to identify
 suspicious domains and activities in real time.In alignment with the principles of cybersecurity—confidentiality, integrity, and
 availability (CIA triad)—the extension enhances network security by safeguarding
 the confidentiality of user data, ensuring the integrity of network communications,
 and maintaining the availability of resources. By continuously monitoring network
 traffic, it analyzes domain access patterns and flags potential threats such as
 phishing attempts, malware domains, and privacy-invasive tracking mechanisms.
 The extension provides users with actionable notifications and customizable
 blocking options to protect privacy and security while browsing.
 The primary objective of this project is to offer a user-friendly yet effective solution
 for network monitoring, designed to be scalable, lightweight, and privacy
 conscious. The extension provides real-time blocking functionality and efficient
 threat detection, contributing to the ongoing evolution of practical cybersecurity
 tools.
